1.
Why do you let the fire hydrants run?
Normally, the only time we allow the hydrants to run is in order to remove air that becomes trapped in the water line when we have to repair a leak.
2.
How can a leaky toilet cause my bill to be so high?
Most people don't realize that a leaky toilet is the number one cause of water waste. When a toilet runs continually, the tank fills up, and the water continues to flow into the bowl. The discharge of water results in your water meter continually registering water usage.
