Monthly Donations

Interested in donating monthly? You can contact City Hall, and have them add a monthly donation on your water bill. Please specify the amount you would like to donate monthly, and which account you would like for your donation to be applied to. Remember, even just $2.00 a month can make a difference in the life of an animal. The three (3) donation accounts we have are:

General Fund: This fund covers the incidentals, above and beyond, what the city budget covers, i.e., portable kennels, building upgrades, or, anything else that provides a safe and comfortable environment for our animals.

Animal Medical Fund: This fund is used to treat sick animals that come into our facility, buy vaccines to help fight the spread of disease while the animal is impounded, purchase medications to improve the life of the animals in our care.

Spay/Neuter Fund: This fund helps to defray the cost of our mandatory spay/neuter surgery for any animal adopted from the facility. The city pays 25% towards the spay/neuter of cats and dogs.

Any donation given under this program will be noted on the perpetual plaques that will be on display at the shelter. We encourage people to donate to this worthwhile cause. Memorials for loved ones (pets included) are also welcomed and can be listed on these plaques as well.
