Overview
Animal Care and Control provides the following services:
- Operates the Animal Control Facility and provides humane care for animals in the shelter.
- Responds to both emergency and non-emergency calls.
- Patrols the streets looking for strays, abused animals, and escaped or lost pets.
While the City of Lytle no longer requires pets to be licensed, the City does still require that all animals, four months and older, be vaccinated against rabies. Failure to vaccinate will result in an additional charge, should your animal be picked up by Animal Control.
