City Administrator

Zachary Meadows joined the City of Lytle on December 11, 2023. Prior to the City of Lytle, Zachary worked in the Houston area, serving as the Management Assistant from September 2013 to October 2014 and the Director of Community Development from October 2014 to December 2019 for the City of Dickinson, and as Director of Community Development for the City of Spring Valley Village from December 2019 to December 2023. Zachary also served six (6) months as the Acting City Administrator for the City of Spring Valley Village. Zachary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio, in San Antonio, Texas. Zachary has a passion for public service and is excited to work with the City Council, City Staff, and the residents of Lytle to continue making Lytle a great place to live and work. Zachary is a member of the American Planning Association, International City/County Management Association and the Texas City Management Association.

Responsibilities

The City Administrator shall be the administrative officer of the City and shall serve under the Mayor and City Council. They shall be responsible to the governing body for the proper administration of the affairs of the City. They shall oversee all City departments. The City Administrator shall work closely with the Mayor, City Council, and Finance staff in development of the City's annual budget.

Additionally the City Administrator for the City of Lytle is tasked with overseeing Planning & Development activities of the City.
