April 2020

Every year the City of Lytle hosts an egg hunt for the children of the city and surrounding area on the Saturday before Easter. Every year the Easter Bunny makes an appearance. The egg hunt will be held at John Lott Municipal Park on the baseball fields for kids ages 1 to 8. Along with an egg hunt the kids are entered into drawings for Easter prizes. The 2020 event is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2020.

4th of July Fireworks Display

Lytle’s Annual Independence Day Celebration will have the fireworks display set off between 9:30 and 10:00 pm as the finale. Free hotdogs will be served on a first come, first served basis starting at 7:00 pm at the John Lott Municipal Park’s Juan J. Garcia, Sr. Pavilion. Lytle’s VFW Post #12041 will once again grill the hotdogs for the city, and the Ladies Auxiliary will serve the treats along with free chips and drinks. Inflatable rides and a face painter will be available for the kids. Popcorn, candy and snow cones are other treats that will be served at this yearly event. We invite everyone to come out and enjoy the evening of the 4th of July.
