Division Overview
The LPD is organized into four divisions. While we are a small department, this approach allows us to better organize our duties and responsibilities. Some officers have responsibility in more than one division. Please further explore our website to find more details and information on the various divisions.

Divisions

• Animal Care and Control Division: Provides animal control services and operates the animal shelter
• Criminal Investigation Division: Provides follow up investigations and manages the filing of criminal cases with various prosecutors
• Fire Marshal Division: Provides fire investigation, inspection, prevention, and code enforcement services
• Patrol Division: The largest and most visible division which provides initial response and patrol service to our community 24-hours a day
