Identity Theft Information and Resources
If You Are A Victim of Identity Theft
Identity theft is becoming a more common incident. The Lytle Police Department routinely takes reports of identity theft. In some cases we are able to locate suspects and file charges; in other cases we are limited to taking a report and trying to prevent further damage.

If you live outside the city and the transactions or events did not occur in the city, you may be referred to another law enforcement agency having jurisdiction.

The Lytle Police Department has found the following links to be very helpful for victims of identity theft. You will find not only various links to both state and federal agencies but also links to the three major credit bureaus.
