Although appointments will still be made for vaccinations, Atascosa County is now adopting a "NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY" program to allow for more flexibility in the timing of citizens' vaccinations. The gates to the Strawberry Festival Grounds will be open at 8:00 am and will be closed precisely at 4:30 pm every day. You need only a driver's license or ID to drive through to get your shot. The SFA gate on Amphion Road should be used.
You may still call (830) 580-2606 to schedule a shot time which may give peace of mind to those travelling a longer distance. These time slots will be honored as front of the line recipients.
